Administration Officer - Enquiries Southland Hospital, Invercargill Fixed-term, full-time (1FTE, 40 hours per week) opportunity until 25 April 2025 Busy and varied service Mo te turanga | About the role We are looking for an Administration Officer – Enquiries to contribute to the smooth running of the Records and Information service by providing an efficient and timely administrative support function that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the organisation. This fast-paced role has a strong focus on records management, maintaining our information database and maintaining tidy storage areas so records can be quickly retrieved when required. There are also opportunities to contribute to process improvement. Mou ake | About you To be successful in this busy role you will be the kind of person who enjoys working in a demanding environment, as well as: Efficient, able to access to information quickly As you'll be handling patient information the ability to be discrete is an absolute requirement. Ability to work in a structured environment with some repetitive tasks. An understanding of the Privacy Act 2020 is required. You must be a team player with very good communication skills, who understands and appreciates the need for attention to detail. Utu whanui | Salary range This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the Te Pukenga Here Tikanga Mahi Public Service Association (PSA) National Health Administration Workers Collective Agreement and the salary will be in accordance with the National Health Administration Workers Pay Scale, Band 1 between Step 1 $57,291 and Step 3 $63,630 per annum pro-rata dependant on relevant experience.
