He Waka Tapu works to increase the health and wellbeing of Whanau. About the role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the busy and varied role of Administration Manager. In this role, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality, efficient administration, events, and property services across all HWT sites. Your leadership will be instrumental in upholding our key value of manaakitanga, ensuring every member of our team and visitor to our whare feels valued and respected. Key responsibilities Provide leadership in the development, enhancement, and delivery of high-quality administration, events, and property services. Lead the team with strong manaakitanga, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Coach, mentor and monitor direct reports to achieve performance outcomes and organisation goals. Support the Operations Manager in meeting organisational objectives and delivering stellar services to our community. Streamline systems and processes to support smooth operations across the organisation. Uphold good working relationships with contractors and oversee site hygiene, maintenance, property, and kai requirements. Oversee events and the hire of rooms and equipment. Identify gaps in service delivery and provide solutions for improvement. This role provides management oversite to our on-site Café "Papa D's". Skills and experience Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Strong understanding of manaakitanga and commitment to upholding organisational values. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Experience in coaching and mentoring staff to achieve performance goals and professional development objectives. Demonstrated ability to streamline processes and improve efficiency across administrative functions. Sound knowledge of property management principles and experience overseeing maintenance and hygiene requirements. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively. Experience in event coordination and management, including planning, logistics, and execution. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement innovative solutions. Commitment to continuous improvement and willingness to adapt to changing needs and priorities.
