Te whiwhinga mahi| The Opportunity The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, protection, and population-level intervention. We are connected across boundaries to deliver public health services that are nationally planned, regionally delivered and locally tailored. The primary organisational impact sought from this position is to provide a range of day-to-day administrative functions across the local team, including basic project co-ordination to a high-quality, to support the delivery of our public health work programme. We have multiple permanent, full-time opportunities available across the Te Manawa Taki Region in Waikato/Taupo, Taranaki and Tairawhiti as an Administration Coordinator. You are an experienced administrator or coordinator, able to pick up new systems quicky and with proven experience supporting teams, effective communication skills, well organised, the ability to prioritise effectively, be responsive and deal with ambiguity. You will be comfortable working with and for diverse communities and you will be Microsoft savvy, able to help managers and staff use Teams and other tools to best advantage. Experienced in team administration including management of finances and supporting teams in the use of business systems Proactively identifies continuous improvement opportunities in systems and processes to improve efficiencies Continuously and actively embraces learning opportunities and develops and improves technical experience Able to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a timely, and accurate manner Able to demonstrate building constructive and effective relationships with stakeholders to build a sound understanding of their operational environment and context.
