Volunteering Waikato

Details of the offer

Every day at the Bureau is different. We deal with a range of enquiries from members of the public and other organisations. We use our website to find out the best advice to give our clients as well as our Community Directory to get people practical support.
To begin with there are 5 online training sessions coupled with observations so you can see how the Bureau runs. Then after that, you are placed with a mentor, another Interviewer who will guide you through the processes, give you opportunities to shadow their work, and support you. After you have completed your mentoring training, you are then put on a weekly roster. The once per week shift is approximately two and half hours each week.
