Our iconic brands, such as Lockwood, Abloy, Whitco and Yale, are driven by innovation and have been recognised with ASSA ABLOY's inclusion in Forbes' Top 100 most innovative companies list, on four separate occasions.   About The Role We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer, based in Auckland.Reporting to the Finance & Commercial Director, the role is responsible for r the processing of all transactions related to the Accounts receivable function as well as general administration tasks as advised from time to time. Key responsibilities of the role will include: Process daily banking transaction receipts Payment allocation as per remittances received Liaise with customers on overdue accounts and outstanding disputes A/C reconciliations and investigations Attend to customers queries such as copy invoices & Proof of Debt, follow up credit claims as required Process debtor's journals and supply ad hoc information as needed, e.g. cash flow expectations Orders on Hold required to be assessed, released or follow up customer Ensuring Customers receive monthly statements Calculation and processing of customer rebates Assisting with month end Producing monthly Aged Debtor Reports About You A minimum of 5 years' experience as in a similar role Previous experience in manufacturing environment would be advantageous. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation. Flexible with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities. Has a positive approach and attitude, shows high levels of initiative and enthusiasm.
