Accounts Receivable

Job Description:

O'Reilly Automotive is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable professional to join our team in Dunedin, Otago, NZ. This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates with at least 1 year of experience in accounting or finance.

Responsibilities:- Process and manage accounts receivable transactions- Reconcile discrepancies in billing and payments- Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up as needed- Prepare and send out invoices and statements to customers- Assist with month-end closing and reporting- Collaborate with other departments to resolve account issues- Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software- Ability to work independently and in a team environment- Planning and organization skills- Creative problem-solving abilities- Reliable and resilient personality traits
