Accounts Payable Officer - Fixed Term

Employingover 1400 staff in 13 locations across New Zealand, C3 Limited is an essentialservice provider and market leader in port related product and cargo handling,adding value to our clients' businesses by providing solutions to theirtransport and logistics needs. Located atour harbourside head office in Sulphur Point, an experienced Accounts Payable(AP) professional is required to perform this vital role in our busy Financeteam. You will bring experience in an AP environment with a primary focus on ensuringthat supplier invoices are paid on time as per the agreed terms and holdingoperational staff to account to ensure that the proper purchase order practicesare adhered to. The role will report to our Senior AP Administrator. Thisposition is available for a 12-month fixed term to cover parental leave. Tobe successful in this role you will have strong data entry and excel skillswith high levels of accuracy and attention to detail as well as being able tohandle repetitive processes and meet strict deadlines. In addition, you need tohave excellent communication skills, be a team player with a sense of humourand have good numeracy. Experiencewith finance packages such as TechOne and managing purchase orders in an ERPtype environment with "Robot" technology would be beneficial. As anorganisation C3 Ltd has a complex structure with many branches and subsidiarycompanies that adds complexity to the role.
