ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Manager to join our team based in our corporate offices in New Zealand. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable and payable function for the IDX New Zealand group.
As part of this well-established Accounts and Finance team, you will continue to improve processes related to medical billing, invoice interrogation, debtor resolution and other duties supporting the accounting and customer service teams.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Leadership and coordination of our experienced Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable team
Efficient processing of patient accounts, healthcare claims, and debtor accounts
Implementation of billing efficiencies for new and established sites
Verifying accuracy of billing data, revising errors and reporting
Improve and Implement procedures and workflows for the ease of billing and to reduce aged debt
Timely and accurate issuing of invoices
Liaison with key funders and stakeholders
ABOUT YOU Qualifications in Accounting or equivalent
Experience in a dedicated Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable role and driving billing efficiencies
Experience in leading and developing teams.
Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills would be highly advantageous
Knowledge of Radiology Information Systems is highly desirable
Experience in end-to-end management of designated ledger
Understanding of healthcare billing would be ideal, but not essential
IT savvy to be adaptable to new systems as we innovate
Excellent communication and telephone skills
