We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our Business Advisory Services team as an Associate. About the Role A strong client-centered service delivery focus is essential as you will manage and build a portfolio of clients. We work across a broad range of clients and industries and our work is varied so will utilise both your tactical and strategic skills. As an Associate, you will: Provide strategic leadership and direction in the management of client service delivery and relationships. Be involved in the provision of advisory services to clients such as strategic business planning, cash flow modelling and coaching. Input into clients with your high level of technical expertise and a a proactive and solution-focused approach that will make a difference to our clients. Oversee and review financial statements, tax returns, and other compliance-related documents. Play a key role in business development, cultivating client relationships, and identifying new opportunities. Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment and drive towards our values, which are very important to us. Ensure that the technical ability of our team remains current by staying up to date with industry trends, legislative requirements, and best practices to ensure the firm's continued success. About You To be successful in this role, you will need: A Chartered Accountant qualification At least six years + experience in the accounting industry (preferably within a business advisory services environment) A high-level technical knowledge and business acumen with a knowledge of New Zealand tax laws and accounting standards A proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and business development Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to work in a team and motivate others Exceptional attitude towards people and tasks and a willing to drive change and continuous improvement Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex financial issues. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Have a high level of professionalism with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity.
