Uses office automated systems to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries. May reconcile difficult accounts. May maintain a complete and systematic set of transactions in a specific phase of accounting.Working at NTTThe Accounting Administrator supports the accounting team by assisting with general accounts payable and receivable functions. Under the guidance of a more senior professional colleague, this position provides support that enables the processing of NTT accounts.Key roles and responsibilities:Prepare and process month-end journal entries and all relevant financial reportsAssist with balance sheet and bank reconciliation processingCapture and generate purchase orders and manage the related invoices and collectionsMonitor and analyse expenses of the team and intercompany loads, fixed deposits and journalsAssists with the administration of the accounts receivable function, including credit vetting, opening of new accounts, collecting cash and resolving queriesAssist the accounts payable function by dealing with vendors to ensure that all external and intercompany debtors pay in accordance with their payment agreementsAllocate cash in the financial system and assist with the reconciliation of client remittancesEnsure that client master data is maintained in the system and assist with monitoring of optimum account ageing against actual ageing of debtorsDeal with vendor queries related to accounts, ensuring that progress and solutions are communicatedAdhere to best practices in accounting as outlined by industry experts and espoused by the companyMaintain and update the status of accounts receivables and payablesAssist accountants by preparing all administrative financial data and reportsKnowledge, skills and attributesGood knowledge of MS excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets)Ability to enter and analyse data to identify numerical errorsAbility to establish and maintain good working with stakeholdersA high degree of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent planning and organisation skillsKnowledge of accounting processes and proceduresOutstanding problem analysis and solving skillsAbility to work under pressureAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven time management skillsAbility to multitask and work independentlyDisplays exceptional mathematical skillsAbility to produce a high quality of workDemonstrate high ethics and adherence to company valuesAbility to prioritise and manage expectationsDisplay good analytical and reasoning skillsAbility to interpret processes, policies, financial and legal documentsAcademic qualifications and certifications:Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Commence or other relevant qualificationExperience required:Demonstrated work experience in similar positionDemonstrated work experience in a related environmentSome experience dealing with internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrated experience with accounting softwareSkills SummaryAccounting Processes, Accounting Reconciliation, Accounting System, Accounts Payable Process, Accounts Receivable Management (ARM), Data Interpretations, Financial Analysis and Reporting, Month End ReportingWhat will make you a good fit for the role?Remote Type: Equal Opportunity EmployerNTT is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer with a global culture that embraces diversity.
