Accountant - Work From Home

Job description:Ball, a leading company in Nelson, NZ, is seeking a dedicated and energetic Accountant to work from home on a part-time basis. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for handling financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting.

Responsibilities:- Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and tax payments- Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies- Communicate with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders as needed- Collaborate with other team members to achieve financial goals

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines- People management and emotional intelligence skills- Ability to thrive in a remote working environment
