Accountant - Remote Work

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team at AES. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to work from anywhere in Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for various financial tasks, including but not limited to financial reporting, budgeting, and tax preparation.

Responsibilities:1. Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.2. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.3. Conduct thorough financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.4. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.5. Collaborate with other team members to optimize financial processes.6. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and audits.7. Manage accounts payable and receivable.8. Provide support during the annual audit process.9. Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

Requirements:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.2. 4+ years of experience in accounting roles.3. Energetic and hardworking personality.4. Strong people management skills.5. Creative problem-solving abilities.6. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.8. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
