Accountant Or Senior Level Bookkeeper

Our thriving successful adventure tourism business is looking for an experienced Accountant or Senior Level Bookkeeper to join our team. The position would suit an individual looking for part-time or contract work, approximately 20+ hours per week. The role would primarily include bookkeeping and accounting related work, the depth of which will depend on experience and hours available. Responsibilities include Maintenance of transactional business records Support and maintenance of accounting softwarePreparation of GST returnsPreparation of creditor paymentsReconciliationsSupport the development of, and coach the Accounts Admin Support person.Complete fortnightly payroll and associated tasksPeriodic financial reporting and KPI reportingWhere to workWe are open minded and flexible about location you workYou could support the business leadership team in person and work at our Rotorua office, or you could work remotelyIdeally, at least some time would be spent in the office so you feel part of the team Let's talk about you!You are someone with a genuine desire to be an enthusiastic and active contributor to our growing team.
