Accountant (200118089)  Rotorua, New Zealand Job Description:  We are seeking a highly skilled High Intermediate to Senior Accountant to join our team and take on a range of responsibilities critical to the success of our firm. The Accountant will be expected to perform the following tasks: Sorting of client financial records Coding of financial data Discussing queries with clients Preparation of GST returns Prepare work papers file for annual accounts Preparing and reviewing financial statements Prepare Income Tax returns Finalizing Financial Statements and Income Tax returns following partner review Sorting out ACC issues with clients Communicating with IRD regarding client affairs Other ad hoc advisory jobs for clients as required Other miscellaneous jobs around the office Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. 3-4 years of experience as an Intermediate Accountant. 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting role.
