Ideally you will have had exposure to manufacturing at some point in your career, possibly working directly in a commercial environment or maybe in a CA firm in Audit or BAS with manufacturing clients.
Reporting through to a highly experienced Financial Controller, who is keen to mentor and grow your skills this position has plenty to offer.
Key responsibilities but not limited to include -
Developing and maintaining standard costs of products, assessment of production accounting results and production variances
Analysing actual manufacturing costs and preparing reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
Recognising the causes and opportunities for cost savings
Assisting in various ad hoc analysis requirements
Completing month end tasks
Maintaining the cost accounting and inventory modules
