Our client has recently entered into a Joint Venture with another large corporate business withing their industry. They are now seeking an experienced CA Qualified Accountant to be responsible for the new Joint Venture. This will include the completion of the monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting processes and financial reporting. Reporting to the Financial Controller, your primary responsibility will be all aspects of the Joint Venture accounting including full control of the ledger, fee calculations and invoicing, reconciliations, cash management and financial reporting.
Duties include:
Completing monthly, quarterly and year end accounting and reporting for the JV entity
Reporting to the JV clients and other key stakeholders
Managing the JV bank accounts
Assisting with preparation of annual budget and regular forecast
Financial statements and audit
Participate in the system upgrades and enhancement projects
Identify and undertake process improvement initiatives where appropriate

Key Skills and Requirements:
CA or equivalent with a minimum of four years post qualification experience
Solid ERP experience
Strong spreadsheet modelling
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
Good understanding of New Zealand GAAP
