We innovate and continue to grow talent as we seek to optimise the value of forestry for a better future.The Role:We are seeking a qualified accountant to fill the Fixed Term Accountant role for a period of 15 months. This full-time fixed-term role is created to increase the capacity in our Finance Team as we implement our ERP Project. This role is based in our Head Office at Rotorua and reports to the Head of Finance. Responsibilities:Support the Finance Managers in meeting the accounting requirements of PF Olsen Group including preparing company accounts and consolidation of group results. Assist with management accounting responsibilities including budget and forecast management, financial risk and credit management, business performance monitoring, client budget review and profitability analysis.Qualifications and Experience:Tertiary accounting qualification with a minimum of 5 years practicing experience.Professional Accounting Qualification - CAANZ Chartered Accountant, Associate Chartered Accountant or CPA is mandatory.Proficient in computer modelling (financial) skills and ERP system experience.Sound technical knowledge and skills in financial and management accounting.Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills are necessary to deliver this role successfully.About Rotorua:This central region is a short skip away from golden beaches, snow covered mountains, or the Auckland city lights.
