Account & Relationship Management (Sales)Capes Medical are looking for a Account Manager for the South Island Territory.Capes Medical Supplies has been providing services to for over 28 product categories and 4,000 SKUs within to the healthcare sector, which includes hospitals, Specialist clinics, primary care, and aged care, throughout New Zealand. Since it was established in the year 2000, Capes has sourced internationally recognised product brands which it buys (bought) from more than 100 wholesalers in New Zealand and Australia. Capes Medical also is the exclusive distributor in NZ of high quality specialist ranges directly sourced from international manufacturers.Through this Capes and the other trading arms, BSNZ supports a large range of users within the NZ health sector. We are all about supporting the end users and ensuring a safe and efficient healthcare delivery service.Key AccountabilitiesPlan and prioritise sales activities and client contact aiming towards achieving agreed business objectives.Cover territory in the most effective and productive manner via a regular call cycle.Recognise and expand on new business opportunities.Prepare and present at client meetings.Continually strive to possess detailed product knowledge and understanding of product uses and applications.Recognise opportunities to introduce new products to existing clients.Attend product training sessionsMaintain external and internal relationships, using appropriate methods to ensure business profitability and facilitation of sustainable relationships.Adhere to health and safety policy and other requirements relating to care of medical products and equipment.Maintain customer database updating records as required.Complete weekly sales report sharing relevant information with management on market and competitor activities (COB Friday) or weekly maintenance of CRMAttend fortnightly Sales meetingsAttend Monthly company meetingAttend conferencesSelf-Management:High level of self-motivationHigh level of communicationOrganizational skills in terms of planning and time management.Ownership and responsibility for all accounts.Hours must be flexible to achieve business results.Seek to improve computer skills to effectively use company systemsAvailable to travel as required to achieve sales objectivesQualificationDiploma or Degree qualifications (Business, Nursing, Science)Nursing or Science background.Skills RequiredMinimum 3 years sales or clinical experience in healthcare sector, in particular Hospitals, and medical clinicsWell-developed problem solving abilityAbility to absorb technical information and desire to learn and keep abreast of changes in fast paced marketAbility to priorities in a busy environmentStrong communication skills both written and verbalStrong attention to detailAbility to handle confidential informationFlexibility in regard to working hours.
