The network of accounts has grown substantially over the last two years and the BDM now needs help managing and growing the portfolio further. This role is relationship focussed rather than being sales-centric, someone with commercial acumen and the ability to hold conversation with senior business leaders is essential.Day to day responsibilities:Calling prospective clients, following up with current and past clients, and developing proposalsManage a portfolio of warm accounts, so the BDM can focus on growthEnsure the timeline and successful delivery of the organisations solutions according to client needsAbout You:You will be a person with strong people skills backed with excellent documentation and back-end process. You will bring good negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to connect and build relationships over the phone, in person, and through e-mail. You will be provided with an unrivaled networking opportunity, but will need significant commercial acumen, effective communication skills, and confidence working across all areas of business to be successful. You will have a keen eye for new opportunities, and always respond to client inquiries in a timely manner.Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in Account Management or Sales.An understanding of Business and Governance.Commercially minded with strong people skills.Must have well-developed written and verbal communication skills.Function independently and take initiative with a solution orientated approach.Positively influence others through effective decisions, integrity, and a hunger for excellence.Be emotionally intelligent.Be flexible and adaptive.Applications close Wednesday 4 April 2024.
