The Role
Reporting to our Regional Sales Manager, we have an enviable opportunity for an Account Manager to join our exceptional Mico Sales Team (covering the Waikato and Bay of Plenty) and make a significant impact through ensuring competitiveness and continued growth of our Mico product range.
This is a newly created, fast paced and satisfying role, based out of either Hamilton or Tauranga,
that is responsible for developing and delivering successful sales growth across our Builders, Architects and Group Home Builder portfolios, as well as overseeing that our service delivery is impeccable.
You will develop a strategic understanding of our market and competitor behaviour and build strong
partnerships with Builders, Architects, Designers and Group Home Builders to grow our market share and identify opportunities for new business while offerint our customers innovative solutions that exceed expectations. You will deliver on sales activity to generate new business wins and manage sales projects, tender proposals and specifications to secure these.
About You
We are looking for an energetic and agile sales professional who is customer centric and action-orientated that will deliver and execute on strategies. With proven sales experience in the building, architectural, commercial or design industries, you will have exceptional communication and negotiating skills and have a strong background in sales development.
Essential to your success you will also bring:
3-5 years proven sales experience in securing and developing new business, account management and retention of key customer accounts.
A sound understanding of the business to business sales and pricing process as well as margin management
Be commercially savvy with a high level of financial and business acumen.
To excel, you will ideally have experience within the building, architectural, commercial or design industries.
Competent in using MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and CRM systems.
