Improve the health and wellbeing of our youth
The WDHB Enhanced School Based HealthService (ESBHS) is seeking applications from experienced registered nurses,with authorised vaccinator certification, who have a passion for youth healthand health equity.
This role will work alongside schoolnurses to deliver a high quality, effective and safe immunisation service, toadolescents enrolled in the Enhanced School Based Health Services schools.
You will be youth-friendly, innovativeand independent, and engage with a range of stakeholders such as School BasedHealth Service nurses, General Practitioners, school management, Primary HealthOrganisations and the National Immunisation Register (NIR) team, to providebest practice clinical services across the Programme.
At a minimum you must be a NZ RegisteredNurse with a current Practising Certificate, and Authorised Vaccinatorcertification. You must be a highly skilled communicator, exemplify lifelonglearning and have strong youth health nursing skills - particularly in thecontext of school based health care nursing.
It is a given that you be an excellentrole model for youth health nursing and have an approachable and can-do manner.
