We are seeking an experienced Youth Worker who will work within the Mahi for Youth team to support rangatahi towards sustainable employment. As Youth Connector, you will be a coordinator of services around rangatahi to ensure collaboration, and your work will be holistic and underpinned by Te Whare Tapa Wha. This role will focus on supporting rangatahi and is externally funded through the MSD He Poutama Rangatahi programme.

A relevant tertiary qualification and/or extensive experience in youth workExcellent skills in dealing with people from all sectors of the communityInitiative and be able to work in a team environment.Be a positive role model & mentoring – consistent in behaviour, generating confidence and displaying commitment to othersAn innovative and proactive approach to solving problemsSituated in the heart of Ngati Kahungunu, the Hastings district and Hawke's Bay offer an enjoyable environment in which to live, work and play.
