We operate a native plant nursery in Tuatapere, Southland, near Fiordland National Park. This is an absolutely stunning part of the world and a beautiful place to use as a base for wilderness adventures, earn some money and recharge for your next adventures.
We are looking for a person or couple to join us to help with our busy plant production season and tasks around our property and gardens.
We are looking for help with plant potting and general nursery work. Hours very flexible, work at times that suit you. We are offering FULL TIME OR PART TIME THE CHOICE IS YOURS.
We normally host wwoofers to help with general tasks around the property and our big gardens, we are now offering this to backpacker / workers in exchange for providing accomodation and food. We provide accomadation in separate backpacker house. You will have your own private room in the house with good quality food provided. You will be expected to perform tasks around the property in exchange for food and accomodation. We host up to 4 backpackers in the house at any time.
You must have working holiday visa, and NZ tax number.
The paid work and wwoofing component are one package, we try to make sure it is a fair exchange and there is still plenty of opportunity to make decent money with paid work.
