Milestone IT is currently working with this bright national business who right now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced PHP developer to join their team.
Initially, on contract for 6 months, our client is seeking an individual who is familiar with and has a passion for best development practices and will work alongside an existing developer on a well-built solution. This is working with a team of great people who see the new individual as an important part of the team. Responsibilities will include :
Scope, understand and map application dependencies.
Identify, record and document application and business processes.
Assist by pairing and then assisting in the maintenance (to a small degree) of the codebase.
refactor, rebuild and redevelop poor code.
Document and record the application system.

To be suitable for this role you will have :
Good wordpress development knowledge
Good PHP/Zend knowledge.
CSS,HTML, js (node/react) knowledge.
Strong documentation and writing skills.
