We are seeking a lawyer with experience in Wills and Estates and/or Family Law. Experience in both areas will be highly regarded.
Remuneration will be negotiated based on experience and the role is on a permanent full-time basis.
Your role
You will work on a variety of matters including:
Drafting Wills including Testamentary Trusts;
Drafting Enduring Power of Attorneys and Advanced Health Directives;
Reviewing life insurance and superannuation policies, family trusts and company constitutions;
Reviewing and providing advice in relation to company and trust structures;
Undertaking estate administration files including obtaining Grants of Probate;
Preparing family law letters of advice;
Drafting Application for Consent Orders and Financial Agreements;
Preparing Court material;
Attendance at Court and mediation as required.
You will have the benefit of hands-on work and will be dealing directly with clients and other stakeholders. You will work within a great team and have access to administration support.
You will work alongside the Director, Greg Kelly and Special Counsel, Lindsey Miles, who both have a genuine "open door" policy and will provide you with support and guidance throughout the conduct of your matters.
Criteria
Ideally you will have:
3+ years post admission experience in Wills and Estates matters and/or Family Law;
The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team;
Experience with LEAP is advantageous.
