The Whaanau Ora team are going through an exciting transformation and with this evolution are establishing a much needed nursing workforce to better serve our community. This is an opportunity to really make a difference to the lives of our community with high complex health and social needs, with a 'whaanau ora' view.
The Whaanau Ora nurses will be responsible for engaging, supporting, facilitating and working with those who are referred to the Whaanau Ora service. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will see you working closely with a dynamic team of social workers, advanced care practitioners and the wider community to achieve whaanau directed goals, using a case management approach.
In order to meet the needs of our community, you will be a strong generalist nurse with the capacity to be innovative and think outside the box. You will be well supported and opportunities will be given to develop and evolve your practice further.
