Job Title: Housekeeper - Work For AccommodationReports to: Shift Supervisor and General ManagerWeekly hours: 18 hours per week in exchange for AccommodationStart date: NowROLEWe are looking for a fun, hard-working Housekeeper to join our small team at Tahuna Pod Hostel in the centre of Queenstown. Your role will be to provide professional and effective housekeeping duties to help ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations of the hostel. You will assist in maintaining the high standards of our rooms and property’s cleanliness, to ensure guest satisfaction.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESRoutinely performing all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds and cleaning & vacuuming all bedrooms and communal areasUndertaking additional cleaning duties to maintain the high standard of the hostel REQUIREMENTSExcellent command of the English languageHousekeeping experience ideal but not necessaryNew Zealand resident or a valid New Zealand work visa This is an onsite role, where the amount worked covers your accommodation in our hostel, internet access, laundry facilities, Netflix, breakfast waffles and evening soup. The successful candidate will work 18 hours a week in extange for accommodation; 3 hours a day (10am - 1pm), five mornings a week and 1 three hour evening night porter shift.
