Job Description
Our Engineering Team are part of our Commercial Projects Division, carrying out reactive maintenance, renewals, and capital development projects. We provide comprehensive customised metal fabrication solutions, including general engineering, stainless steel fabrication, alloy fabrication, balustrades, handrails, and customised landscape features.
Desired Skills and Experience
We have an opportunity for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our small, highly skilled team. We work with all types of aluminium, steel, stainless steel, as well as pipe and tubing. You?ll be technically qualified, with sound experience in welding and light fabrication. If you have lathe experience that would be great ? but it?s not essential. Most importantly, you?ll be a great team player with a strong work ethic, who can hit the ground running.
The successful candidate will:Be trades qualified as a welder / fabricator or equivalent
Have welding tickets ? including NZ47:11 (be an advantage)
Have high skill-level in MIG/TIG and ARC welding
Have the ability to read, understand and follow engineering drawings
Be able to work autonomously and unsupervised, but also work as part of a team
Have good time management skills and a great work ethic
