Weekend Cleaning Team Leader

Jack Link s NZ is a manufacturer of highquality meat snacks supplying both local and export markets We have some challenging goals ahead in 2020 and in order to achieve our targets we are looking for a fulltime Team Leader to join our Weekend Cleaning Day Shift team This role reports directly to the Production Manager and is a great role with a lot of autonomy and could kick off a career in manufacturing management for the right person Some Key Responsibilities include Developing the team and individuals into a high performing production unit Ensuring SOP and process guidelines are followed Implement the appropriate Work Procedures and emergency response procedures plus any other documentation such as PreStart Inspection Job Safety Analysis Monitor work activities and stop the works if continuance may impact negatively on the environment safety of persons or the quality of work service Be directly accountable for the health safety and environment of those persons under their control To be successful you will need to have Proven people management and leadership experience Chemical handling experience High level attention to detail Excellent communication and organisational skills Good numerical ability High degree of trouble shooting ability this includes identifying the root cause of issues and possible corrective actions Previous food manufacturing experience would be highly regarded If this sounds like you we would love to have a chat Please click the apply button to submit your cover letter and CV Only successful candidates will be contacted Candidates must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
