Web Chat Officer

Job Description:

As a Web Chat Officer at WestRock in Dunedin, Otago, NZ, you will be responsible for engaging with customers through our website's chat platform to provide assistance, answer inquiries, and guide them through their online experience. This entry-level position requires at least 1 year of relevant experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner via web chat- Provide product information, pricing, and assistance with online orders- Resolve customer complaints and issues to ensure customer satisfaction- Collaborate with other team members to improve the overall customer experience- Meet and exceed key performance indicators related to chat efficiency and customer satisfaction- Utilize persuasive and strategic communication skills to guide customers through the online purchasing process- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers

Requirements:- 1 year of experience in a customer service or sales role- Driven and hardworking personality traits- Excellent written communication skills- Strong persuasion and strategic planning skills- Ability to work in a team environment and independently- Proficiency in using web chat platforms and other digital communication tools- High school diploma or equivalent required
