About the Role
Kaipara District Council is looking for the right person to monitor waste water systems within the district.
Using a dual agency approach with the Northland Regional Council, you will ensure all property owners provide a maintenance report by a suitably qualified person and, where necessary, take enforcement action.
In addition to this role, are you able to provide a quality service that ensures the safety of the community in relation to roaming, aggressive and uncontrolled dogs, through education, pro-active patrolling and the administration and enforcement of Kaipara District Council's Policy on Dogs and Dog Management Bylaw, together with the enforcement of Council's General Bylaws and relevant legislation for animal control including wandering stock.
In conjunction with this dual role, regular patrols throughout the district will be required with regard to parking enforcement and response to noise complaints received by Council.
