We are currently seeking an experienced Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to join the team at the Gisborne Wastewater Treatment Plant in the industrial subdivision. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, stable and reliable operation and treatment of compliant wastewater for Gisborne City.
You will be responsible for planning, ensuring compliance, monitoring and evaluation and carrying out maintenance within the plant. We are seeking someone who has experience in this or a similar field with wastewater and mechanical experience.
To be successful in this role you will need:
National Certificate in Wastewater Treatment (level 4) and/or a minimum of 3 years operational experience with process plants including maintenance, fault finding and quality systems
Qualification or experience in mechanical engineering or fitter turner
Demonstrated competency in Health and Safety systems and its implementation
