Warehouse Team Leader

Trimax Mowing Systems is a New Zealand grown manufacturer and exporter that has built its business in Australasia, UK, Europe and the US. To support us in our continued growth we are looking for an accomplished leader to join us as Warehouse team leader.

Based in Tauranga and reporting to the NZ Operations Manager, this role is responsible for the leadership of a small warehousing team, ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products into and out of the facility.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Coordinate warehouse duties ensuring safety, quality and process standards are met.

•Provide effective leadership to ensure the team are engaged, issues are resolved and development needs are met.

•Ensure deliveries are unloaded effectively, verified and warehoused to Trimax standards.

•Ensure component parts and raw materials are picked and delivered lineside according to the needs of our production schedule.

•Coordinate the loading and dispatch of finished machines to export and domestic markets.

•Lead a culture of continuous improvement within the team by identifying opportunities for quality, safety & efficiency.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

•Proven experience leading a warehouse team in a distribution or manufacturing environment.

•Strong communication skills to be able to work effectively with team members across the business.

•An understanding of inventory and quality management principles and processes

•Experience with computer systems for warehousing and dispatch

•An interest in mechanical components and manufacturing processes
