Warehouse & Processing Operative - Wellington

Are you looking for a new role where you can get involved in every part of the production and dispatch process. We need someone who is used to a varied role and is happy to work as part of a small team completing a range of tasks.This role is based in Milverton, near Wellington Somerset, access to own transport is desirable due to location.The busy warehouse plays a vital role receiving goods from all over the world which must be checked for quality and dispatched to customers within the UK and Internationally.As a warehouse & processing operative you will be responsible for the safe loading/unloading of vehicles, manual handling (up to 25kg) within goods in, picking, packing and dispatch. The position will also involve liaising with customer service service and sales departments and some occasional local transit van driving. In addition to good numeracy and literacy skills having a fork lift licence would be useful but not essential. Clean driving licence essential as the role may involve some local driving.Must be a strong team player, hardworking and have worked in a similar role previously but be happy to move around the warehouse and production teams helping in whatever tasks is necessary.This is a temporary role working 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and finishing at 3.30pm on Fridays.Rate of pay is £8.21 per hour.Note this booking is near Wellington in Somerset.
