This is a permanent full-time position for 40 hours per week, in our Queenstown?Warehouse located at 2A/12 Hawthorne Drive, Remarkables Park, Queenstown. As our store is open 7 days a week, this role does work on a rotating 7 day roster. About the RoleThis role manages the Warehouse to ensure effective and efficient operation which meets all relevant company and legislative requirements. Manage and lead the Warehouse employees to ensure the highest level of service is provided to the business and customers. In this role you will: Responsible for the overall productivity of the Warehouse team, and quality of the Warehouse service to the store and customers. Manage and communicate an effective roster for the Warehouse to meet the needs of the business and ensure superior customer service standards are maintained. Conduct weekly team meetings, communicating information pertinent to the Warehouse. Ensure the Warehouse meets expectations in each Company Standards Review and Warehouse Audit. Educate the warehouse team and conduct random inspections on a regular basis. Work to improve performance and rectify any identified issues. Lead Health and Safety for your warehouse, including security of warehouse, stock and equipment. Undertake general warehouse duties, including heavy lifting as required. Manage Warehouse stocktake preparation and assist the retail departments with regular and accurate stock counts of inventory as required. The salary for this role is $75, per annum. ?The skills and experience you'll need to bring with you include: At least 1 years warehousing management or senior supervisory experience in medium to large operational environment. Basic computer skills – Microsoft office. An understanding of Health & Safety legislation, best practice and familiarity with heavy lifting techniques Well developed knowledge of Warehousing procedures, practices and standards Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships A customer first approach; willingness to go the extra mile for the customer Current, clean, full NZ Drivers Licence.
