Role description:The Warehouse Manager will prepare and complete orders for delivery and pickup according to the daily schedule. After which they receive and processes warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store) and unload truck and containers when required. Part of the daily routine is to complete incoming product logs into the inventory. On a weekly basis the Warehouse Manager will also perform inventory controls with SAP and keep quality standards high for audits and stocktaking.
Responsibilities will include:Communicate with transportation companies, supervisors and co-workersOptimise the delivery time by utilising the current and potential courier companiesOperate and arrange maintenance of all warehouse vehicles and equipmentCompile and manage accurate stock reporting from 3rd party warehousesProvide daily reports to management of all stock dispatchedReport and document with photos discrepancies or damages to managementCoordinate and document repairs of returned and damaged stock and facilitate its repair for placement back into sellable stock
This role will suit someone with the following background / experience / qualities:
Forklift and AP licenseExperience in a similar roleStrong computer skills: SAP system knowledge would be preferredLogistic knowledgeTeam playerHard working, reliable with a strong work ethic
