THE ROLE
UQ Sport is seeking an organised and disciplined Warehouse Coordinator to join our small and committed team! This position will suit anyone who is service focussed and adaptable with fantastic attention to detail. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Retail Manager, the Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily overall operations within our warehouse. You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the flow of goods into and out of the warehouse, the supervision of Warehouse Assistants and the provision of high level customer service and support. The role includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Inventory control re-ordering of goods as required
Checking goods on arrival to ensure correct product and quantities are received
Entry and management of data into retail systems
Maintaining quality assurance and distribution of products across UQ Sport retail outlets
Providing administrative and operational support to the department
Maintaining a positive profile for UQ Sport in the wider community
Manual Handling movement and storage of goods and equipment (0.5 20kgs)
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
To be successful in this role you must hold current Class C automatic driver's licence. You'll have proven excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated proficiencies in Microsoft Office packages. You're proactive, with exceptional time management skills and are committed to delivering outstanding customer service. You're autonomous and self-driven, with the ability to work with limited supervision in an effective and efficient manner. Previous experience in a retail warehousing role will put you ahead of the rest.
