In Australia & New Zealand, we operate in multiple products including cocoa, dairy, and almonds.About the Role:As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations by accurately receiving, storing, and dispatching materials and products.
This role is not just about operating a forklift; it also involves learning and actioning logistics documentation, supporting inventory management, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to the overall productivity of the ofi Dairy Plant.Key Responsibilities:Warehouse OperationsEnsure all inwards and outbound deliveries are completed in a timely manner.Complete daily goods receipting.Conduct stock and cycle counts within defined timeframes with high accuracy.Create transfer documents and attach source documents for all outbound deliveries by the end of each business day.Complete daily production reporting and ensure shipping orders are fulfilled and dispatched on time and in full.Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas.Ensure trucks are booked via SAP entry, matching batches based on priority and truck availability.Production CoordinationAccurately capture, maintain, and report production records.Proactively innovate solutions for any anomalies in production records.Logistics DocumentationLearn and action logistics documentation to support warehouse operations.Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and timely.Key Skills:Demonstrated ability to work effectively and proactively in a team environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail.Experience & Knowledge:Inventory control experience preferred.Proficiency in relevant computer applications including MS Word, Excel, and SAP.Familiarity with inventory scanner systems.Ability to safely use warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.Current forklift license preferred.Eligibility:Only New Zealand-based employees with full work rights need apply.Must pass our pre-employment medical/drug screen as we have a zero-tolerance policy to drugs.
