Comfortable working on their feet, focused on meeting urgent requirements, and manage inventory and databases.The day to dayPick and pack to fulfill Consumable requirements to LabsMonitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs and coordinate with SupervisorCoordinate with the labs & Purchasing team to set up orders, and standing ordersStock movement of inventory and materials across facilities as required with a forklift.Coordinate with all transport companies for deliveries and pick upsSort, organize, and store inventory in assigned locationsReport damaged or missing inventory to supervisorOperate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory, unloading and loading trucks, and staging them in designated locations.Update data and documentation for inventory processing & follow upPrepare documentation and inventory data for audits & Conduct monthly stock takes, inventory audits and reports as requiredMatching receipts with invoices and delivery docketsMove materials from facilities, pick-up locations, or other locationsEnsure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles, making sure the store is kept clean and in compliance with the company HSE policyWork as an active team member to complete team goalsMake sure the warehouse processes and procedures are followedThe EssentialsValid forklift license (mandatory), full driver's license, IATA & DG certification (desirable).2+ years in warehouse roles (assistant, storeperson, or similar), including forklift and vehicle driving.High school diploma, trade certificate, or Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations (desirable).Ability to lift 20kg, stand, walk, squat, and climb during shifts.Proficiency in Excel, MS Suite, data entry, and familiarity with inventory software.Experience in warehouse operations, organization, and inventory management.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Adherence to health, safety, and operational procedures.Strong communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and follow up effectively.Working at ALSOur people drive our success at ALS.We are a diverse and dedicated community united by our passion to make a difference in the world.
