The Opportunity
Reporting through to the Waharoa Site Manager as a 2IC, you’ll relish the opportunity to put your warehousing/manufacturing experience to good use in a uniquely varied role.
From the people side, you’ll support with team coaching and development, lead daily meetings, organise site activities and step up to lead when the Site Manager is away.
On the production and planning side, you’ll be involved in both recipe planning and formulation as well as overseeing all goods movements (raw and finished) in and out of the site.
Interested? Some more specific responsibilities include:Planning and arranging daily movements of raw materials and finished good to and from the site
Leading H&S on site including induction of new staff/contractors and implementing controls for risks
Forklift operation as required for the movement of product
Completing SAP transactions and carrying out regular stocktakes
Supporting the quality manage to maintain compliance standards and assist with recipe development
About You
We’re on the lookout for individuals from manufacturing and/or warehousing backgrounds with a flair for motivating teams and passion for health and safety.
Sound like you? Other things we’re on the lookout for include:
A forklift licence with OSH modules and F licence endorsement is a must
Prior experience leading teams (formal or informal) or a passion for coaching others
Good computer skills – experience with SAP would be helpful but can be taught
Excellent people skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with a variety of people
Previous exposure to H&S – qualifications would be helpful, but are not required
