Visiting Teacher

Rockmybaby® is a high-quality, education and care, home-based service. We are currently looking for a passionate, dedicated and committed early childhood teacher to join our visiting teacher team.
If you are passionate about home-based childcare, you will enjoy this role providing professional leadership and support to home-based educators.
There is a strong marketing aspect and this role and we would expect that you will actively promote our services within the community.
The successful candidate will;
•Be passionate about life-long learning and professional development
•Have strong communication skills
•Be a registered early childhood teacher
•Have a current first aid certificate and full drivers’ licence
•Have high self-motivation and integrity with excellent time management and attention to detail
•Be confident and competent with IT skills
•Have sound knowledge of Te Whariki, ECE regulations, legislation and internal evaluation
Key responsibilities:
•Academic writing for programming planning, visit notes, newsletters and blogs
•Supporting and inspiring educators, whanau and children
•Monthly visits with educators and children
Travel will be required.
