We are looking for a Video Content Producer who will be responsible for the editorial selection and delivery of quality video, text and image content to TVNZ's platforms and news products.1NEWS Digital (PC, Mobile, Tablet, social media, News on TVNZ+)1NEWS Linear Bulletins (Te Karere and 6pm)TVNZ Commercial IntegrationsFulfils a multi-skilled editorial/operational role, ensuring video and editorial content on all digital services is accurately published.
Deliver highest possible quality video and audio to all platforms to ensure customer experience is optimal.Role will require regular weekend work from Wednesday through to Sunday.
Able to work shift work.This is an exciting role at the heart of the TVNZ newsroom.
You will be working alongside producers and reporters to ensure that the best possible vision is selected, crafted and delivered to our audience.To be successful in this role, we will need the following:A strong understanding and interest in Digital Media is essential - including development of the technology and user/market changes, both here & abroad.Advanced video skills relating to edit systems, encoding and delivery is preferred.A good understanding of sound journalistic principles.Experienced Avid Media Composer User.Demonstrated industry experience - relating to media, journalism.Clear and concise writing skills.Advanced understanding of Digital Video editing & Image processing software - e.g.
Avid, Premiere, Video compression & filetypes, FTP, Various CMS tools, Encoding packages, Photoshop.Maintains productivity, effective communication and good decision making under pressure.Efficient in navigating a wide range of applications across various operating systems.Able to create simultaneous products for different platforms.In this role, you'll contribute to New Zealanders experiencing the stories that matter.
