Our team is in need of a highly motivated, confident Vendor Replenishment Planner to join our team for a 6 month contract role. Ideally someone who thrives on a challenge; able to deliver results through managing and improving performance within the supply chain metrics and ensure a smooth end to end execution.
This highly visible and key role will be a key player in building and managing internal and external partnerhips to ensure delivery of business plan objectives.
Key Responsibilities include:
Develop robust replenishment plans
Analyse stock requirements and deadlines
Work in conjunction with key internal/external stakeholders to align expectations on replenishment plan actions
End to End review of daily replenishment
Identify and swiftly resolve exceptions of stock shortages and excess inventory
Facilitate regular Supplier Collaboration Meetings with key stakeholders
Contingency plans in place, and regularly revised
Complete ownership and resolution of replenishment shortfalls and critical failures
Drives high performance expectations amongst stakeholders
Identify opportunities and develop an action plan from root cause analysis to deliver increased performance, reduction in costs and improvement in availability across varied scenarios.
Here's what we are looking for:
solid VRP experience
Strong sense of initiative and comfortable managing and working along with diverse teams and multiple stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as proven negotiation, collaboration and interpersonal leadership skills
Ability to challenge directives that impact financial and operational performance of the functional area
Ability to demonstrate quick, flexible and creative thinking, with pragmatic commercial problem solving skills
Understanding of customer and shopper needs
