Our guiding principle is to only write code necessary to deliver experiences unique to users.We’re increasing our design capability to complement our already strong development team and are searching for a talented freelancer to join our team on a contract basis. You’ll work with internal and external stakeholders to turn ideas into usable web and mobile apps, and will have the opportunity to work across all things UX/UI, from groundwork research and web design, through to rapid and interactive prototypes for multi-platform projects. This work will not be full-time initially.Requirements:
Work with stakeholders to define UX and design goals based on business objectives and user needs
Develop concepts for a range of mobile/web interfaces using UX/UI fundamentals
Create digital illustrations
Work with researchers to understand findings and incorporate into current design (assist with user research needs where applicable)
Present designs to diverse audiences both in person and in written reports.
Skills & Experience:
Experience as a digital designer in a fast-paced environment or in-house creative setting
Experience with a range of UX and digital design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, Zeplin)
Experience involving JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ReactJS, AngularJS, or similar front-end framework would be an advantage
Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
Good oral and written communication skills
