We're looking for an experienced UX Designer to join our Auckland Team who will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience and usability of our existing products.
The Role
Your success as a Senior UX Designer will come from designing user interfaces that:
Reduce effort for our users to perform common tasks and allow them to become expert users quickly
Inspire confidence for customers that our products surface the information they need to run their businesses efficiently
Provide a consistent brand identity and visual design across our products
We're looking for people who want to learn about our industry and enable customers to be successful with our products.
You'll be expected to
Be an advocate for user-centered design process.
Evaluate the design and usability of our products and propose actionable recommendations for change.
Plan and conduct user experience research, such as user interviews and usability testing, to gain valuable insights that will feed into the design process.
Create wireframes, interactive prototypes and high fidelity visual designs.
Clearly articulate design rationale and solutions to key stakeholders.
Work with product development teams to translate UX designs into usable and intuitive product capabilities.
Work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders including customers, development teams, Product Owners and Product Managers, Engineering Leads and Tribe Leads.
Take time for personal training and development.
What we’re looking for
Proven experience as a Senior UX designer.
A portfolio of work demonstrating a track record of creating user-focused and intuitive designs (preferred).
Experience in UX design for complex software products.
Facilitation skills to engage with customers and stakeholders.
Ability to synthesize qualitative feedback and data from research and testing.
Experience working in an agile environment.
Coaching other designers and wider product team on UX design.
Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
An open-minded consultative approach.
Ability to give and receive positive and constructive feedback.
