Ui/Ux Designer Wanted For New Foodie Startup!

Calling all Digi-designers!
We're on the hunt for a superstar (to be) UI/UX designer to join team.
We're a brand new food-tech company that specialises in hospitality-based marketing, based here in Auckland CBD. More importantly we help bars, restaurants, and cafes get their food menus out to the world in a more 'relevant' and cooler way.
You'll be joining a small n agile team, and will be helping us with implementing a whole range of stuff (we all like to get our hands dirty and help eachother). More importantly,
you'll be working with our product manager and frontend developer on day-to-day tasks which include: - Website design tweaks & additions (and yes! You'll be part of the planning stages, which means you get to have a say!)
- Social media posts
- Art direction
- Branding
- Overall brainstorming with the creative team So, who are we after?
- Someone with good design skills who has a finger on the pulse, and knows al the latest design trends and practises
- Someone that's looking into expanding their portfolio with REAL WORLD experience.. We currently have over 50 clients onboard!
- Someone who's familiar with lo-fi, hi-fi, wireframing, prototyping, and is a whizz with programs like Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD,
- Someone who can communicate clearly, and can present work with confidence. No time for shy people around here when it comes to ideas.
- Someone who can take a brief and smash it with or without the rest of us, whilst turning an idea into a 'wow that looks amazing' piece of work
- Someone who definitely knows the difference between a JPEG and a PNG file
- If you're a bit of a foodie, then that's a bonus!
As the position is stated as 'part time', there will definitely be more hours (with a potential of moving to full-time) to the right candidate.
We're also a super flexible bunch with flexible work times (Yep. WE don't really believe in the unproductive 9-5 model around here) . Due to Covid 19, we'll also be flexible around
working in office, and out-of-office once you're confident with the tasks handed to you.
