Tutor - Business

The role
We currently have a part time (30 hours per week) position available for an outstanding tutor to teach our renowned business programme at the Raumanga Campus in Whangarei. Our ideal candidate's expertise will lie within the area of accounting as they will be responsible for teaching the following papers;
Introduction to Accounting and Taxation
Applied Accounting
Analysis of Financial Information
Budget for Planning and Control
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have a relevant degree level qualification (masters degree is preferred)
Hold or be willing to work towards a Certificate in Adult Teaching
Have relevant industry experience
Have experience teaching in a similar environment
Be willing to be involved in research activity (all staff teaching on degree programmes are required to be research active)
Have a strong desire to help others
Have very good organisational and time management skills
Have excellent IT and computer skills
Be a positive person with a 'can-do' approach
Encourage skills development and independence
