What is this role all about?
Reporting to the Auckland Airport Manager and based at Auckland Airport, the prime responsibility of this position is the overall management of the Auckland Turnaround Operations. You will be responsible for delivering revenue growth, continuous improvement in service quality, staff development and satisfaction in a fast and dynamic environment. Specific focus will be on;
• Manage staff and service delivery to ensure all KPIs and service standards are met
• Ensure most effective utilisation and turnaround of vehicles in accordance with customer needs
• Monitor staffing levels in line with business volume and targets
• Ensure regular service, maintenance and repair intervals are observed and each vehicle is rented in excellent condition
• Manage key customer relationships
• Driving key operational targets
• Ensure safety, security and protection of all assets at the turnaround centre in line with corporate, environmental and health and safety standards
• Hold daily briefings with all staff to communicate strategies and actions
• Ensure a strong relationship with the licensee business is developed and maintained.
What do we need from you?
To be successful in this position, our new team member will be able to demonstrate the following:
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Display outstanding leadership and organizational skills and have a natural ability to motivate and direct staff
• Planning, organising & prioritising skills
• Previous experience managing a team
• Experience in a previous logistics/planning management role would be highly regarded but not essential
