Turf Technician

Think Turf specialises in everything TURF, and offers clients full lawn renovation and installation of new natural turf, artificial grass and synthetic sports turf for playgrounds and other facilities. Due to outstanding growth we are looking to add to our team and so a new role has become available in our Petone branch for someone with a great attitude and who takes pride in their work.

As a Turf Technician this role will be varied in nature and will see you working on many different projects – no two jobs will be the same. You will not only be highly competent in general landscaping tasks but will also have a real eye for detail and be able to work in a team as well as meet our clients expectations.

The ideal candidate will ideally have 3+ years’ experience working in the landscaping / contracting industry preferably with digger, bobcat, and forklift skills and construction experience.

You will:
- Be an adaptable person and an excellent communicator with a friendly and positive outlook
- Be pro active and able to work in a team or autonomously
- Have a minimum class 1 licence but a class 2 and wheels, tracks and rollers an advantage
- Have a strong work ethic and take pride in your work
