This is a full-time position within the School – Maori Enterprise, Business and Computing, reporting to the Director of the school.
What we’re looking for
An expert in Maori Enterprise and Business with appropriate industry qualifications and teaching experience.
Financial and business management experience (or be prepared to learn).
Proven skills and experience as a leader with a strong commercial and academic/teaching orientation.
A focused approach with positive working relationships with all iwi and stakeholders.
Academic qualifications and experience to lead staff through the development of courses to meet the needs of future graduates.
Understanding of student success and what this looks like.
Demonstrated people management skills including mentoring, leading and providing expert advice to staff and students.
Demonstrate strong industry networks both locally, nationally and/or internationally.
Undertake professional development that ensures relevancy, competency and enhances business management and leadership skills.
